The !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! recently switched over from Gulf to Marathon branding. I go there because the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , a Freestate a couple blocks down the street, is cash only. I don’t know if this graphic i s part of the new bra nding, but it’s the first time I noticed it.
(Also, according to GasBuddy the cash prices at the Marathon are the same as the prices at Freestate at the moment. Go figure.)

The VP station near me that sells the wonderful ethanol free 91 shows that same screen.

Almost everything up here is 93 for premium. It's really more like "91" at that station, it's pump octane race gas which the Mini loves. So much more pep when I fill the tank with it than when I get the 93 from the Mobile or Shell station near my apartment. Oddly the Mini has actually taken up quite the dislike for Shell gas.

I’m rather fond of the air-cooled Porsche with the fuel filler in the back like an old American car.

AFAIK there are no ethanol-free stations anywhere in the DC area. When I lived in Wisconsin, all of the Kwik Trip stations had ethanol-free 91, and this place had separate ethanol-free pumps. There were also lots of places selling E85 since it’s definitely in the corn belt.
On my 335xi, I run the MHD 93 octane Stage 2+ map and it’s totally fine with the E10 93 that I get at the cheap Marathon/Gulf.

I have a bone to pick with that gas pump! If you’re going to use a drawing of an early second gen Camaro either do it as a real RS or as a standard. Why use RS bumpers on a standard front?

Ethanol free 91 is better than 93.

They weren’t correct with the Camaro either. Camaro’s
filler is hiding
under the license plate.

There’s a gas station near me that has that graphic. It’s sort of charming, if pointless. Much better than the ones near interstates that blare ads at you.
